Fleabag is a black comedy tv series and the protagonist breaks the fourth wall in the episodes. The series has two seasons and the second one was nominated for 11 Primetime Emmy Award and won six and the show also received two Golden Globes, one for Best Television Series and another one for Best Actress for Phoebe Waller-Bridge. Fleabag also stars Andrew Scott and Olivia Colman.
The plot:
The show follows Fleabag’s life which is troubled by
her family and by the economic difficulties caused by the management of her
coffee shop. We get to know Fleabag through her love, family relationships and
friendships.
IMDB Rating: 8.7
Personal rating: 9
Personal opinion:
I really enjoyed this show, Phoebe Waller-Bridge and
Andrew Scott performances are truly amazing. I loved the love story of the
second season and also the relationship between Fleabag and her sister. The show
is really funny and at the same time, it makes the viewer think. The episodes
are really short and binge watchable. I personally like the fourth wall break
and the fact that the protagonist describes her feelings directly to the viewer.
